Notice I took the old worn out Gumbo Monster Mudders off!!! Couldn't get over 15mph without feeling like the whole truck was coming apart. New tires to come in the next month or so..............

No on the mirrors. When I bought the truck I noticed that the mirrors were mounted weird. If you look at my previous pictures you will notice. Someone had put the bottom arm of the mirror in the dent. So I had to raise the mirrors in order to put the molding on. So now I have 2 big holes in the doors. Which isn't a big deal because the truck is going to end up with pretty much all new metal including doors. I just hadn't put the mirror back on the drivers side when I took the picture!!

Always wanted a roll bar!! Got this double hoop complete with KC lights for $300 on craigslist. Had been looking for about 6 months. Just sitting in the truck for right now. I will install it sometime this week. Question. I am a symmetrical type person. There is something about me that doesn't like the round KC lights with the square headlights. You all think it looks alright or should I go with square roll bar lights?

Do you have a pic from an angle that shows both the roll bar lights and headlights? That would help us give opinions.

If it were me, I'd probably install it as-is to start, give it some time to see if I liked it, then if it was bothering me, swap rectangular lights onto it later.

The "right" answer, of course, is go with what you like!

These are KC lights and after pricing them I think I will just stick with the round ones!! Now I just have to figure out how to wire them up!! just two wires coming out at the bottom of the roll bar. Red and Green.

Haha yeah, seeing the price often makes the decision on questions like this!

As for the wiring, check continuity to the roll bar itself on both wires: as long as neither is grounded, assuming these are single-filament bulbs (one brightness), one should be positive and the other negative; polarity doesn't actually really matter much if they're not LED, but red as hot and green as ground makes more sense with standard color codes.

Then I guess a toggle switch inside to a relay?

Always a good day when tires show up!! Ordered these 5 weeks ago!!! 16/38.5x16.5 Super Swamper TSL's

Everything is pretty much at a stand still now. I am in the beginning stages of planning out my garage build. The next step for my truck is body work and paint. But, I don't want to restore it without first having a place to store it.

How wide are your rims and can you measure the rim offset? I want to get a set of 16inch wide tires.

Look'n good & sounding mean. I'm going to have to do a walk around on mine. :-).

I'm was tempted on the Swampers too but think I'm going with some BFGs. Seems like all of these big tires need to be ordered.
