One thing I will need to do is drop the front hangers down 2- 2.5 inches to account for the pinion angle and to pull the driveshaft off the slip yolk a little bit. You will see why not moving the axle back beneficted the build soon. I apologize a bit for spelling errors and grammar since I a wee bit sleepy as I type this.

I've actually been whatching your build thread it looks like its coming along nicely. The lift you did using the stock hanger flip only gives a inch or maybe a little more of lift where a front hanger in rear with shackle flip gives 4in-6in when I drop the front hangers down a little more the leafs will look angled instead of flat right now. while the rear is figured out the front lift is a little bit of an issue but ill get into that later

ok now that I have a little free time I figured id give more info on build/plans.
Keep in mind this is a EXTREMELY low budget build so there will be a lot of fabrication and swapping parts off of a few older fords.
I pondered on running a flatbed for awhile, the orig flatbed consisted of 4x4s cut out in the shape of the frame rails and simply bolted down and then boards nailed across it. it was a pretty well put together flatbed but sat really low and stuck out a bit and wasn't the best. I thought about building a steel framed flatbed with wood boards but that would've costed $ and time and I honestly preferred a box. I knew how many people inculuding me don't like the looks of 80s boxes on the 73-79 fords so I got my hands on this-
had a garden growing in the back of it literally..... can't really see it because it was fall when that pic was taken. 3-4 inches of dirt with moss and and weeds a foot high in summer.
the passenger side was the spot of bothers but the drivers side is in good shape and the floor is mostly surface rust but its pretty thin in some spots.
